“We’re working with the iconic Tramontina, a century-old brand known for its premium cutlery, cookware, and home tools. To meet rising production demands and streamline intralogistics, Tramontina partnered with Atomix to build a four-way pallet shuttle automated warehouse, designed specifically for the storage of semi-finished goods.”
What is the maximum weight of pallet for the 4 way pallet shuttle
1500kg.
What are the types of inbound and outbound conveyors
We can have it directly fed with forklift, AGV, Powered pallet truck, or a direct feed conveyor from your production line.
How many 4 way shuttles would be required
The throughput requirements and size of warehouse will determine the number of taxis needed. On average one shuttle can handle 12 pallets an hour.
How do the shuttles reach specific levels of the warehouse
Lift allow the shuttle and pallet to simultaneously ascend and descend to levels of the warehouse where it can then move off from the lift. The number of lifts required in a warehouse is determined by throughput requirements and size of warehouse.
How does the client choose where to store pallets and which pallets to retrieve
We store pallets using our software which gives each location a score for a new pallet and is based on certain rules depending on heights, pallet type, SKU, zones etc.
